Schroter's Valley and Aristarchus

Scope: C8 f/30 Location: Del Mar CA;  31 May 2004;  Camera: Vesta 690

Exposure: .2 sec frames - approximately 150  frames with IR filter. Best 60 frames (approx) used.

Processing: AVIs were aligned and stacked in Registax. Some wavelet processing was applied. Images were saved in BMP format. Final touch up in Photoshop involved some sharpening and color balance. Still came out a bit reddish though.

I was looking at the moon after some equip checks ( close to full moon made DSOs very problematic). Schroter's Valley was quite striking so I took some images.  I believe the horizontal FOV is about 2.5'
