Scope: FSQ-106N at f/5;  Location: DAA Observatory, Shelter Valley, CA; Dates: 29 30 October, 3 4 November, 2024;  Camera: ASI2600MM (Astronomik type 2c  Ha, OIII and LRGB filters)

Exposure: Exposure:  Lum - 96 x 3.5 min (gain-101 1x1), Ha - 151 x 5 min (gain-160 1x1), OIII - 150x 5 min (gain-160 1x1), RGB - 36 x 2 min (gain-101 1x1) each RGB exposures.

Processing: Data Collection -  N.I.N.A. Sequencer (as FITs).  Sub-frame calibration - Pixinsight (WBPP). Sub-frame  registration and integration (Average combine -  Linear clipping) - PixInsight (WBPP).  2x Drizzle of Emission Line stacks - PixInsight (WBPP).  Noise reduction - NoiseXTerminator - PixInsight. Non-linear stretching, normalization and gradient removal - PixInsight. Photometric RGB calibration (SPCC) - PixInsight. Deconvolution of Lum, Emission Line, and RGB combine - BlurXTerminator. Generation of starless nebulosity Lum, Emission line and RGB images for later processing - Star XTerminator.  Curves, Levels, RGB combine - PixInsight.  Lum starless and Emission Line starless  combine - PixInsight.  LRGB stars screened to starless Lum + Emission Line starless - Pixinsight.  Final finishing, crop, and resample  - Affinity Photo.   Annotation - PixInsight, Aladin (Simbad), and Affinity Photo. This image is an  LRGB / HOO starless composition - with RGB stars added.  Image processed at 12496x8352 resolution. Final Image size is approximately  6243x4159.

North is left in this image.  This image shows the extent of this faint Supernova Remnant, HBH 3 (also known as HB 3, SNR G132.6+01.3 - and several other SNR ID's with slightly different Galactic coordinates). The full extent of this SNR's optical (OIII/Ha) shell pretty much covers the full field of this image - the radio signal extent is smaller and is only the central part of the shell. (about 80 arc minutes in diameter). The age of this SNR is from 25,000 to 72,000 years; the shell distance is about 6,500 to 7,200 light years.  The bright nebulosity in the lower part of the image is part of the near by  Fishhead nebula's (IC1795) outer structures - not part of the SNR structure. The mouse-over of the above image shows the broad band only nebulosity with the emission line nebulosity removed. There is also a starless mouse-over and an OIII mouse-over from the links above - the latter mouse-over (OIII) shows the extent of the SNR a little more clearly.

Also in the image are dark nebulae LDN 1354 and 1356; bright nebulae LBN 641 and 642; and open clusters NGC 886 and Berkeley 63. There is also the small Planetary nebula, PN G132.8+02.0 - only seen in the full resolution image (pan and zoom).

These objects and some of the brighter stars are identified in the annotated image Horizontal Full FOV is approximately 2.52 degrees. Full size image scale is about 1.46 arcsec/pix.

Image center is approximately - Equatorial 2000: RA: 02h 17m 42s Dec: +62°45'18"
