NGC2419 "Wanderer" in Lynx

Scope: C8 f/5 Location: Del Mar CA 1/13/2004 Camera: ToUcam SC3

Exposure: 16 x 30 sec Luminance Exposure with IR Block. 12 x 30 sec RGB Exposures.

Processing: Captured and stacked in K3CCDTools with IR,R,G,B saved as FITs. IR,RGB masters were co-registered in Astroart. Some Lowpass filtering was applied on all channels. Luminance and Color master frames were co-registered in Astroart. Luminance and Color FITS were combined in Photoshop with Luminance Layering. Color balancing and final touches in Photoshop.

This was a guided exposure done under light polluted skies. This is smallish and dim globular cluster due to it's somewhat extreme distance (as our galaxy's globulars go). However, as captured it is recognizable as a globular with some of the stars resolved even. Horizontal FOV is 16'
