Scope: C8  f/5 Location: Blair Valley - Anza Borrego Desert, CA   12/21/2003  Camera: ToUcam SC3

Exposure: 12 x 72  sec Luminance with IR Block filter, 10 x 30 sec RGB color exposures

Processing: Images were captured and aligned in K3CCDTools and saved as FITS. Luminance and Color master frames were co-registered in Astroart with some low pass filtering. Luminance and Color FITS were combined in Photoshop with  Luminance Layering. Loreal and SGBNR were used for image enhancement after the color combine. Final touches in Photoshop.

This image was taken the same night as the Christmas Tree (NGC2264)  using the AS mount with the ST80 guiding. I forgot the Barlow, so the guide scope was operating at f/5 with low resolution, but most frames were useable with a minimum of trailing. This object is fairly faint and there is no way I could get it in urban light pollution - fortunately this is a good dark site with pretty low sky glow even with a 72 sec luminance exposure. Approximate total horizontal FOV is 16'
