Scope: C8 at f/3 Location: Del Mar CA 8/17/2003 Camera: ToUcam SC3
Exposure: 15 x 9 sec and 20 x 3 sec exposures with IR filter 16 x 4 sec each RGB exposures.
Processing: Captured aligned and stacked in K3CCDTools with L,R,G,B saved as FITs. LRGB masters were registered in Astroart. Some Lowpass filtering was applied followed by un-sharp mask on the Luminance frame. LRGB combine was done in Photoshop. The two IR exposures were combined to reduce bloating of the brighter stars. The result had minor touch up in Photoshop.
This image was one of the first taken with the new C8 scope on the AS mount. These images were unguided.. Horizontal FOV is 22'
