Aligned/stacked and dark subtracted in Astroart with Sigma Combine. H-Alpha and Color channels were scaled and color balanced in Astroart. Channels were co-registered in Astroart. Luminance construction consisted of the H-Alpha exposure. Curves and Levels applied in Photoshop to the Luminance construction to optimize object features. A light background noise reduction was applied to the luminance construction. Final LRGB combine was done in Photoshop separately for each mosaic half using Luminance Layering in LAB color Space. Color balance (more red) was applied to nebulosity at low signal levels (where there was luminance data but little to no color data). Final mosaic combine was done in Photoshop. A light sharpening and noise reduction was applied to the final image. Final Image size is approximately 2387 x 1607. All exposures in this image were guided; North is up in this image. Sharpless - 119 is a region of emission nebulosity in the constellation of Cygnus. The bright blue star is HD 203064 (aka SAO 50690, 68 Cygni). This star is considered one of the more significant of 6 ionizing stars for the emission nebula . This image replaces an earlier image in the archives here. The Horizontal FOV is 135'. Image center is located approximately - Equatorial 2000: RA: 21h 19m 37s Dec: +43°44'03"
