NGC 1502 (near Kemble's Cascade)

Scope: StarMax127 f/6 Location: Del Mar CA  2/20/2003 Camera: Vesta 690

Exposure: 16 x 60 sec and 20 x 18 sec color frames with IR block filter

This image was taken with the dual scope set up on a CG5 mount instead of my EQ3 mount from Orion. The CG5 is beefier, but for my scopes, I found that both mounts (when guided) had acceptable performance.  By combining the two different exposures, I was able to get some depth while separating most of the central stars. Horizontal FOV is 18'
