Aligned/stacked in Registax 3 and saved as FITS. Luminance and Color channels were scaled and rough color balanced in IRIS. Channels were co-registered in IRIS. The 12 sec IR block exposure was used as the main luminance channel; the 3 second exposure was used to minimize star size somewhat and to help with separation between close stars. Luminance and Color FITS were combined in Photoshop with Luminance Layering. Mosaic join was done in Photoshop. Color balancing and final touches in Photoshop. SGBNR (PixInsight LE) was used to smooth background noise on the final result. Image was resized to 1120 x 785. This image was taken on a night where seeing was too poor for the narrow field targets I wanted, so instead I shot the "Beehive" Cluster, M44 in wide field. This was an unguided image. North is to the Right in this image. This image replaces an earlier image taken in Apr. 2004 and can be seen in the archives here. Horizontal FOV is 100'
