CLICK ON IMAGE FOR FULL SIZE VIEW Scope: ST80 at f/2.5 Location: Dos Picos Park Ramona, CA 10/18/2003 Camera: ToUcam SC3 Exposure: 6 x 120 sec H-Alpha exposure. 16 x 16 sec exposures with IR Block filter. 15 x 10 sec each RGB exposures. Two Frame Mosaic Processing: Captured and stacked in K3CCDTools with HA, IR,,R,G,B saved as FITs. HA, IR,RGB masters were registered in Astroart. Some Lowpass filtering was applied followed by un-sharp mask on the HA and IR frame. HA and IR were combined for Luminance. HA and Red combined for red. These combinations and LRGB combine were done in Photoshop. Luminance Layering was used. Each half of the mosaic was color balanced in Photoshop. These two halves were background smoothed with SGBNR.. The well known "Ear" artifacts typical with webcams were removed with Loreal. Final mosaic joining and touch up in Photoshop. This image was taken at Dos Picos Park in Ramona just before the big fires in San Diego County. Also, the shape of the object dictated the image orientation. In this case, North is toward the upper right. Horizontal FOV is about 164'
