Oceanside Photo and Telescope. I have bought two telescopes, binoculars, various eyepieces and accessories from these guys. They are knowledgeable and very pleasant to do business with.

My Dark site locations:

  •     Click the Google Maps  icon to see all locations on an Interactive map
  • Blair Valley - Best location for calm air and darkest skies in the desert (790 meters)
  • Culp Valley - Higher elevation than Blair (1025 meters)
  • Dos Picos Park - Closer to home (517 meters)
  • Mount Laguna - Summertime only (1800 meters) - I don't really observe here but about 500 meters away
  • Palomar Mountain - I never really observe here, but it is so famous I had to include it
  • Tierra Del Sol - San Diego Astronomy Association Club site
  • My House - not really a dark site, but its where I observe when I can't make it to a dark site
