Starmax127 Telescope

 

The Starmax 127: This is my Starmax127 Maksutov Cassigrain Telescope. It is set up as a  dual scope set up. It is a side by side mount with n ST80 Refractor. The main scope (StarMax 127) is a fixed mount. The ST80 is mounted with adjustment rings. Using the adjustment rings, the two scopes can be offset within a 4 degree diameter. This adjustment allows for the selection of a guide star regardless of which scope is guiding and which is imaging. The side by side mount also provides a more convenient eyepiece arrangement for visual use.
