Exposure: 12 x 10 min (1x1 bin) Luminance exposure with IR/UV
blocking filter and 8 x 10 min (2x2 bin) exposure with Hydrogen Alpha filter, 8 x 4.5
min (2x2 bin) RGB exposures. Processing: Data
Collection - Artemis Capture (as FITs). Calibrated, stacked (Kappa
Sigma Combine) - Deep Sky Stacker. LRGB channel registration, equalization, and
central gradient removal - Astroart. Curves, Levels, RGB combine -
ImagesPlus. Luminance Layering, final stretch, and finishing - Photoshop.
This image is a HaL- RGB combine with Luminance layering. Color
saturation in LAB color; H-Alpha and Luminance exposure stacks were used for the luminance
layer. Processing was in up-sampled data (to simulate 1x1
bin). Final Image size is approximately 2600 x 1950. North is up in this
image. In this image, Sharpless 140 (also known as LBN 505 is the dominant
emission / reflection nebula in the right side of the image. Further right
of Sharpless 140 is a small reflection nebula cataloged as GN 22.12.3. The
emission region on the left side of the image is not cataloged. In the center of
the image is a darg region where there are several cataloged dark nebulae in the
LDN and TGU catalog. These
objects as well as some of the brighter stars are identified in the annotated
image. Horizontal FOV is 120' Image
