Scope: ST80 f/2.5, Location: Dos Picos Park, Ramona, CA; 6 Aug. 2004, Camera: ToUcam SC3 Exposure: 10 x 24 sec, 16 x 12 sec, and 16 x 4 sec Luminance with IR block filter, 12 x 6 sec each RGB filter. Processing: Images were captured in K3CCDTools. Aligned/stacked in Registax and saved as FITS. Luminance and Color channels were scaled and rough color balanced in Astroart. Channels were co-registered in Astroart. The shorter Luminance exposures were combined with mask with the longer Luminance exposure to reduce star bloat. Luminance and Color FITS were combined in Photoshop with Luminance Layering. Color balancing and final touches in Photoshop. SGBNR was used to smooth background noise on the Luminance channel and the final result. Image was resized to 800 x 600. This image was an unguided image. This image is a wide field image of an area sometimes called Little Star Cloud. North is up. You can also see dark nebula Barnard 92 and Barnard 93 in the upper right corner - they appear as dark spots on the star field. You can also see the Open Cluster NGC6603 roughly in the center of the image. A closer image of NGC6603 itself is shown in the image below. Horizontal FOV is about 80'
