Jupiter and Moons

Scope: StarMax127 f/24 Location: Del Mar CA 1/12/2002 Camera: Vesta 690

Exposure: 34 x 1.5 sec and 185 x .2 sec color frames with IR block filter

This image is a combination of the two exposures. Generally if you try to capture moons in an exposure, Jupiter is simply a white disc with no detail. So this image was a composite of the .2 sec exposures for the planet and 1.5 sec exposures for the moons.
