Scope: C8 f/24; Location: Del Mar, CA; 7 Mar. 2004 and 9 Mar 3004; Camera: Vesta 690
Exposure: Approx 160 x .2 sec, Color CCD Exposure with IR Block. (Both Images)
Processing: Images were captured in K3CCDTools. Aligned/stacked in Registax and saved as BMP. The images were resampled at 1.2x and some wavelet processing was applied. Color balancing and final touches in Photoshop.
The top image was made on 9 Mar. 2004 and the bottom image was made on 7 Mar. 2004. The sky was reasonably stable for both of these images. However, you can see that focus was a bit off on the 7 Mar. image. On the upper image, the moon Ganymede can be seen in the upper left. Horizontal FOV is approx 1.5'
